Areas of support
Every session is tailored to you – your story, your pace, your goals. These are my areas of interest, but my work extends beyond these:
How online counselling works
Getting started is simple. Youn’t need to travel, wait in reception, or figure out complex systems. Here’s what happens:
Step 1: Reach Out
Send a message via e-mail or Whatsapp. No lengthy questionnaires – just a brief note that you want to connect and set up an appointment.
Step 2: Initial Consultation
We have a short 15-minute, no-cost, introductory session to make sure we’re a good fit and to answer any questions you may have.
Step 3: Book Your Session
Choose a tume that suits you. Sessions are 50 – 60 minutes online via Zoom.
Step 4: Begin Your Work
Show up as you are. Together we create a therapeutic space that is confidential, non-judgemental, and genuinely effective.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does billing and payment and Medical Aid claims work?
Sessions are charged at a rate comparable with most Medical Aids and depends on the duration of the session. Clients receive an invoice via e-mail after each session and settle their bill via Electronic Fund Payment (EFT) directly with the service provider.
Sessions may be claimable through your Medical Aid! Every Medical Aid scheme operates differently, so what you’re able to claim will depend on your specific plan and the funds available to you.
My practice is registered with the Board of Health Funders, and a number of Medical Aid schemes do cover our services. I encourage you to reach out to your Medical Aid directly to find out whether your plan includes cover for online counselling with a social worker.
Once payment has been made to the practice, you’re welcome to submit your invoice to your Medical Aid for reimbursement. Please note that all communication regarding claims and benefits is handled directly between you and your Medical Aid — I’m unfortunately unable to negotiate with schemes on your behalf.
If you have any questions about invoices or documentation, I’m happy to help!
How many sessions will I need?
There’s no one-size-fits-all here. You’re in the driver’s seat, and we move at a pace that works for you.
