The terms and conditions below are applicable to all of the workshops and are designed to ensure that all service users experience a smooth registration process and benefit from a quality workshop. By going ahead with registration for the workshop of your choice, you agree to be bound by these conditions. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact werner@changeworks.co.za.
Zoom:
Unless otherwise communicated, all workshops will take place via Zoom. While it is not necessary to have the Zoom application installed to participate, it is recommended to download, install and test this application before the workshop, to ensure it is functioning properly.
Recordings, Copyright and Privacy:
The workshop sessions are not recorded and therefore no recordings are available to view after a session. Participants may also not record workshop sessions in any way. Such a recording would violate the privacy of participants who did not consent to be recorded.
All materials provided to participants remain the intellectual property of Werner van der Westhuizen. Materials and content are intended for personal use by participants of the workshop only, and participants may not distribute these materials to others through any means.
Registration and Cancellation:
We operate on a simple, respect-based cancellation approach rather than a complex policy. We ask that participants be considerate of the provider and understand how cancellations affect our services. If you need to cancel, please do so as early as possible.
When you know you cannot attend a registered workshop, cancel your booking right away. Please avoid cancelling on the workshop day or the day before, as you have made a commitment by reserving your place. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows are unprofessional and show a lack of consideration for the service provider.
Certificates:
Participants who successfully complete all requirements will receive a certificate with CPD points. Those who don’t meet full attendance requirements or fail to submit the evaluation form will receive a certificate without CPD points.
Processing Personal Information:
We collect and store personal information electronically to deliver our services. Your information will not be shared with third parties except where legally required (such as SACSSP audits) and will not be used for mass marketing. Attendance registers remain confidential as they contain personal details requiring participant consent to share, and these will therefore not be provided to organisations. Sessions are not recorded, so video recordings are not available unless specifically agreed upon with workshop participants.
Special Offers and Promotions:
- Discounts, special offers and promotions vary by workshop and are displayed on each individual workshop’s webpage. Not all workshops offer the same promotions or discount rates.
- Discounts, special offers and promotions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Discounts, special offers and promotions are only valid for the time or event as specified and many be terminated at any time without any notice, solely at the discretion of the service provider.
Payments:
Only EFT payments are accepted. Cash deposits are not permitted and will result in additional administrative fees.
Equipment and Internet Use:
Participants must test their equipment and internet connection before workshops begin to ensure smooth participation. Cameras must remain on throughout the entire workshop as participation is mandatory—those appearing absent with cameras off may be disconnected. Headphones are strongly recommended for better audio quality and noise reduction. Cellphones and small tablets are not recommended due to screen size limitations for viewing content and participating in collaborative exercises.
